Spiralweb supports locally led processes where people rebuild soil, water, food and local living capacity — one real place at a time.
We begin with an active field relationship in Kitgum and a forming constellation of relationships and pre-pilot inquiries in Morocco. Each place develops its own direction. Local stewards keep authority over the land and the work. Financial support never creates ownership, return, or control.
An action on 10 m² is small. But it can become part of a larger change when practice is documented, shared, and connected to other places.
Our heart is consciously co-created food systems — the place where soil, water, biodiversity, work, culture and community meet. The method we are building, the PG Ledger, is designed to support different forms of locally led regenerative practice; food is where it begins and where most threads connect.
We are preparing and supporting real fields. Each is at its own honest stage.
We keep them separate so reality cannot be faked by averaging. A green field must not rest on depleted people, hidden labour, or ecological debt. There can be no green ecological account on top of a red human one.
The PG Ledger is the field- and documentation-architecture we are now establishing around the first fields. When active, it will make visible what a field wants to achieve, what is supported, what is actually done, what changes, and what must be corrected or stopped.
It is not a sustainability certificate, and not a cryptocurrency, trading system, or blockchain certification. The trust it offers is modest and demanding: not “this field is sustainable,” but “there is enough local authority, documentation, transparency and capacity for correction that it is reasonable to support the next step.”
The constitutional horizon is expressed through Rule of Life: no economy, institution, technology, right or legal form may override the conditions of life.

Observe — Download and read SRIP — The Steward's Journey and begin with 10 m² of ground you already have. Paper and pencil. No connection to us required. The protocol meets you where you are.
Read and respond — The Green Papers are written to be challenged. If you find an assumption that does not hold, write to us. Critical friends are more valuable than silent admirers.
Hold land — If you have a site and want to connect it to the network, reach out via AnchorPoints. Relationship follows time and trust, not application forms.
Contribute skills — The 13×13 observation method is designed for citizen science: anyone with a piece of ground, a school garden, a community plot, or an ecologically interesting site can contribute field observations to the shared evidence commons. The 13×13 grid is one possible architecture for coordinated observation where the place, people and purpose support it. People can begin observing locally now; the pathway for submitting observations to a shared evidence commons is still being developed. Spiralweb Stewardship Association is preparing its first public collection for locally led regenerative food systems, steward viability and the directly connected PG Ledger infrastructure. The planned First Field Flow includes current processes in Kitgum, the Morocco constellation, Mexico City and Karachi.
Contributions will open when permission from the Danish Fundraising Board (Indsamlingsnævnet) has been issued.

Spiralweb Stewardship Association is a Danish non-profit constituted on 22 March 2026. It is currently governed by a board of four: Oleg Koefoed PhD (chair), Áine Donnellan, Storyteller (vice-chair), Nikolaj Sorgenfrei Blom PhD (treasurer), and Lars A. Engberg PhD (working director).
The association provides the present organisational home for work developed through Planetary Guardians since 2019, including the PG Ledger, the Green Papers, the governance architecture and the growing field relationships. The published knowledge materials are offered for open reuse under CC BY 4.0, allowing others to read, share, translate and build upon them with attribution.
The association's purpose is to give the work a transparent, accountable and increasingly shared form, distributing knowledge, responsibility and carrying capacity across the board, field stewards and future collaborators.
Field relationships are carried with Akena Patrick and village elders in Kitgum; Abdelhamid Badaoui in Doukkala; Ingrid Pullar in Casablanca; Assyl Elazzaoui in Had Soualem; Arturo Flores López in Mexico City; and Yasir Darya Husain in Karachi. Each place retains its own authority, pace and decision-making.
